How Pinterest can bring high traffic to your blog
It’s not a new thing that most blogger gets high traffic from various social networking sites like facebook and twitter. Obviously we always spend much of our time doing some kind of activities with social media. While staying busy with social media we are overlooking some of the websites that also as important as social media activities. Recently I have come across a lot of posts about “Pinterest”. Even today I saw a post about pinterest in Mashable. Let me share something about Pinterest which can help bloggers to get high traffic through it.
Pinterest was launched in March 2010 and describe itself as an online virtual pinboard to share things that you love, a website that allows you to pin things online. It is just like in real life we pin our things that are important to us. At Pinterest you can share, discuss and organize interesting things and also save them in your profile. Users in pinterest mostly pin various interesting photos of different links and categorize under different names. You can choose your interested category and started updating it by pinning new photos and articles.
While posting a new pin, there are three options available; those are “Add a pin”, “upload a pin” and “create a pin”. If you have a designing blog or website, you can give direct URL of your blog post, or you can upload a picture if you have. While pinning it you have two options to share with facebook and twitter, you can unmark it if you do not want to share with social media. At the time of submitting your pin you are given an option to choose which category to post your pin to. Since people will browse categories according to their interest, you need to put your pin in right category and also provide a right description about the image or picture. This is an important part in order to get maximum exposure in Pinterest.
Pinterest is based on images that are visually appealing and no one is going to feel obliged to click on a sad-looking picture, if you can share some unique and interesting images with description, then you will get more likes as well as user will visit your blog or website knowing that you are a good designer or you have a very good collection of images.
